FAQ

Do you read my email content?

No. We pull thread metadata (who, when, subject) via the Gmail readonly + metadata scopes. Bodies are never stored.

Where is iMessage data processed?

On your Mac. Our helper reads ~/Library/Messages/chat.db locally and only sends counts and timestamps to Vellaci. Message content never leaves your machine.

What happens after the 14-day trial?

If you don't add a card, your account becomes read-only. Nothing is auto-charged. We'll email you 24h before access pauses.

Can I export my data?

Yes — JSON or CSV, any time, no questions. The data IS the moat for us, but it stays yours.

Is there a Windows / Linux iMessage option?

Not in v1. Email + Calendar work everywhere. The iMessage helper is Mac-only because chat.db only lives there.

Is there a refund policy?

Cancel any time and we refund the unused portion of the current month, pro-rated. Email hello@vellaci.ch.
